That middle position is actually First Lite's superpower for one buyer: the first-time premium customer. Warranty and Resale: The Section Nobody Writes

Here's what actually separates the brands over a decade of ownership — and what matters most if you buy or sell used.

Repairs. Sitka repairs wear-and-tear damage at a quoted cost and replaces manufacturing defects outright — a real repair pipeline. KUIU refers repair work to a third-party shop. First Lite doesn't offer repairs at all: defects get replaced, but a torn knee is your seamstress's problem. Over ten years, that difference is worth real money.
