Refund & Buyer Protection Policy

Effective Date: July 4th, 2025

Second Nature USA INC is a peer-to-peer marketplace for hunting and outdoor gear. While most sales are final, we offer buyer protection in specific cases — including item not received, item not as described, or approved returns.


1. Eligible Refund Scenarios

You may qualify for a refund if any of the following occur:

  1. The item was not delivered, and tracking shows no delivery confirmation.
  2. The item was significantly not as described — including wrong item, undisclosed damage, or counterfeit goods.
  3. The item was lost in transit while using our provided shipping label.
  4. A return was approved by the seller and successfully completed.

You must report any issues within 7 days of the delivery date (or expected delivery date if the item was not received).


2. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued for:

  1. Buyer’s remorse or change of mind
  2. Items that don’t fit or aren’t what the buyer expected
  3. Items reported missing after a delivery confirmation
  4. Damage or theft after delivery
  5. Claims filed more than 7 days after delivery

3. Lost-In-Transit Orders

If an item is shipped using a Second Nature USA INC prepaid label and tracking shows it was never delivered:

  1. We will verify the tracking with the carrier.
  2. If confirmed lost, a full refund will be issued to the buyer.
  3. The seller will not receive payout for the order.

4. Delivered but Claimed Missing

If tracking shows the item was delivered but the buyer claims it wasn’t received:

  1. We may request a carrier investigation, GPS confirmation, or a stolen package report.
  2. Refund decisions will be made based on available evidence.
  3. In most cases, delivery disputes after confirmed delivery are not eligible for a refund.

5. Return Agreements Between Users

Sellers may choose to accept returns. If a seller agrees to accept a return:

  1. The buyer must ship the item back within 5 business days
  2. The buyer must use a trackable shipping method
  3. The item must be returned in the condition it was received
  4. Once confirmed, a full refund will be processed

6. Refund Process Through Stripe and Link

  1. All refunds are processed through Stripe, including payments made via Link by Stripe.
  2. Refunds are issued to the original payment method (credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Link, etc.).
  3. Refund confirmation is sent to the buyer by Stripe.
  4. Funds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card provider.

7. Submitting a Refund Request

  1. Email support@secondnatureusa.com with:
    • Your order number
    • A description of the issue
    • Supporting documentation (photos, tracking info, etc.)
  2. Our team will respond within 1–2 business days.

8. Platform Protection & Misuse

Second Nature USA INC reserves the right to deny refund requests or revoke buyer protection if:

  1. Claims are abusive, false, or excessive
  2. The user fails to follow dispute or return procedures
  3. Fraudulent activity is suspected
