Payments & Stripe
Stripe is a secure and trusted payment processor used by companies worldwide. It handles all transactions on our platform, ensuring your money is transferred safely and efficiently.
When a buyer completes a purchase, Stripe securely processes the payment and holds the funds. After the item is shipped and confirmed, Stripe releases the funds to the seller.
Payouts typically take 2–7 business days after the item has been marked as shipped. First-time sellers may experience a brief delay as Stripe verifies their account.
Funds are automatically deposited into your linked bank account. You can manage payouts and settings directly through your Stripe dashboard.
Stripe collects your info to meet legal requirements for identity verification and fraud prevention. This ensures a secure and compliant experience for all users.
Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor — we never store your full card number. You can pay by card or a supported digital wallet.
Shipping, Returns & Refunds
Once an item is sold, you’ll receive a prepaid shipping label with instructions. For full details, please refer to our Shipping Policy.
Buyers pay shipping at checkout. Once an item sells, the seller generates a prepaid shipping label through our Shippo integration, and every order includes tracking. Buyers and sellers can also arrange local pickup through messaging.
Refunds are handled in accordance with our platform’s Return & Refund Policy. If you received an item that is significantly not as described, submit a request within the return window.
Buying & Selling
Log in, go to your dashboard, and select “List an Item.” Add photos, write a detailed description, set your price, and publish the listing. Your item will go live once approved.
Click “Buy Now” on any item, complete checkout using Stripe or LINK, and you’ll receive order updates. Once shipped, you can track your order through your account.
Second Nature is for used and new hunting clothing and gear — jackets, pants, waders, boots, base layers, packs, optics, calls, decoys, knives, and similar outdoor accessories. Firearms, ammunition, controlled substances, and anything illegal under federal or state law are prohibited and will be removed.
Messaging & Notifications
Every product page includes an “Inquiry” button. Use it to message the seller directly with questions about fit, condition, shipping, or anything else. Sellers typically respond within 24 hours.
Yes — you’ll receive email notifications for all important updates, including new messages from buyers or sellers, order confirmation and shipping status, and tracking information and delivery updates. Make sure your account email is up-to-date and check your spam folder if you’re missing any alerts.
Account Requirements
Yes — all users must create an account to make purchases or list items. This helps us ensure secure transactions and manage order tracking.
To sell, you must register a Stripe account through our platform. This is required to receive payments and ensures all transactions are safe and compliant. The process only takes a few minutes and you’ll be ready to list!
