The Problem

Hunters Deserve a Real Marketplace

Buying and selling hunting gear has always been a pain — and it's scattered everywhere. Facebook Groups, general marketplaces, local classifieds, forum threads, word of mouth. There's no single place to go.

Sellers post across half a dozen platforms and piece together payment and shipping on their own. Buyers dig through sites that weren't built for gear, wondering if the seller is legit or if the item actually matches the photos.

Quality hunting equipment is expensive, and finding it used at a fair price from someone you can trust hasn't been an option. The outdoor community is one of the biggest and most loyal in the country, but its marketplace has been fragmented across platforms that were never designed for it. It was long overdue for one of its own.

Why I Built This

I'm Mac — I've been hunting my entire life. In college, I was constantly looking for quality gear I could actually afford. It barely existed. My options were to pay full retail, spend hours digging through posts across different platforms, or hope to find something I wanted on sale at a fair price.

The experience was broken on the selling side too — I'd list gear and have no idea if the right person would ever see it.

Second Nature exists to change that.
